E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in
MyUniSIM. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and
emails. This is supplemented with SOME face-to-face sessions. If the course has an exam component,
this will be administered on-campus.
Synopsis:
The ability to present information effectively or to persuade an audience to accept a certain way of
understanding is a skill that serves the students well in both the university and the workplace. A
presentation is not just about getting the message across; it also influences a way of thinking. It has to
be purposive and audience-centred.In the course of their study at the university, students can expect to
be making presentations. The requirement to present becomes even more prevalent in their work life
where the ability to present may be career making or career breaking.
Attendance is compulsory for this course.
