Mother’s Day! It was such a
wonderful event in honor of
all our beautiful mothers.

joined the residents to have treats, enjoy entertainment from Northern Lights Quartet, and win prizes.

Donna Vander Vorst
celebrated her 102nd
birthday on May 21st. She
had a wonderful time with
her family, friends and
residents from Primrose. Donna said she enjoys living
at Primrose because we are a small and very friendly
community. She is originally from the Zap/Beulah area.
She has two sons, ten grandchildren and fifteen greatgrandchildren. Her son, Marv, is with her in the picture

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
Cindy Fricke is one of our
new CMA’s at Primrose. She
started in March and has
been a CMA for the last six
years. Cindy enjoys being a
CMA because of the
people and the fast pace
environment. She likes
working at Primrose especially because everyone is
happy and pleasant. She also mentioned that Primrose
has a clean, bright, friendly atmosphere. Cindy has
been married for 16 years to her husband Randy. She
has three sons, one step-daughter and five grandchildren. She comes from a large family of 14 brothers and
sisters. She is originally from Strasburg, ND and is
related to Lawrence Welk. In her spare time, Cindy
enjoys horseback riding and spending Sunday’s with
her family. Welcome to Primrose Cindy!
Annette Hedstrom is one of
our new cooks at Primrose.
She has been a cook for over
30 years and loves to make
breakfast food. She also
enjoys baking chocolate cake
with whipped cream. Annette
moved to Bismarck eight
years ago. She likes working
at Primrose and spending time with the residents. She
mentioned that she’s shocked how well the staff work
as a team and pitch in to help with everything in the
community. Annette loves all types of music, playing
cards, especially Canasta and Whist, and swimming.
Annette also has two sweet cats named Rico and Chloe
that are brother and sister. We are so happy to have
you at Primrose Annette!!
