I am delighted to report that we helped 1764 more students in Washington state get to school, stay in school and graduate from school than in the prior year. Thanks to you and our partnership with the Seattle Seahawks our program support increased by 26.7%. On behalf of the staff and board of InvestED, I want to wish you a happpy and productive 2016! From Forks Washington to Harvard College RACHEL’S STORY: - Deborah Cushing, Executive Director Rachel Horner was a senior in Forks High School where half of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch. She was one of those students. When her teacher encouraged her to apply to Harvard College during her senior year, the additional test fee proved a financial burden. The fee was paid through the school’s InvestED Program, ensuring that Rachel had the opportunity to attend one of the best schools in the nation. 2014-2015 School Year FOUR REGIONAL EVENTS Spokane Vancouver Tri-Cities October 16, 2014 February 24, 2015 April 11, 2015 Seattle May 6, 2015 THANK YOU REGIONAL EVENT SPONSORS $25,000+ The Thompson Family Foundation Northwest Public Radio* $2,500-$5,000 Glacier Fish Company PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company Spokane Teachers Credit Union Stokes Lawrence, P.S.
