POSITION OVERVIEW
The Executive Leadership team at Denver International Airport (DIA) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. This is a rare
opportunity to have direct impact on key services in the international aviation community.
DIA is more than a world class airfield; it’s a complex enterprise that generates over $550 million in annual revenues from a wide
variety of sources. The Finance division performs a diverse array of financial functions for a highly complex organization. Broadly,
these responsibilities entail airport-wide budgeting and accounting, financial planning and analysis, setting rates and charges,
tracking revenue, maintaining airline statistics, billing airline and non-airline revenues, processing payments, working with City
resources to borrow money to finance capital improvements, upkeep of the financial data processing system, internal auditing,
maintaining comprehensive financial accounting, contracting and assisting with the annual audit, and coordinating Airport
financial goals and objectives with Denver’s Department of Finance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirement: Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Public

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The CFO reports to the Manager of Aviation and has the following responsibilities:
nDirects
and manages the Finance & Administration division and represents the organization’s positions, initiatives
and interests in multiple areas.
nProvides
nMakes
expert advice on financial matters to internal and external stakeholders.
short and long-term precedent-setting decisions impacting multiple functional and operational areas.
nDevelops
and establishes standards, procedures, systems and guidelines for DIA.
nManages
and directs the development of policies and operating procedures for the financial, accounting, auditing,
procurement, materials management, commercial properties, management information systems, and personnel
functions for the Finance/Administration Division.
