What Schlitz Park has done is facilitate this thought process by providing services that are easily accessible and at no cost to the tenant. There are no "barriers" to entry as we say in the field. Nothing stopping someone to come in and talk to us, get in a workout or sign up for programming. We are thrilled with the response as it shows we have a capve audience willing to try out the variety of opons we have planned onsite and online.” According to research released during June’s Naonal Employee Wellness Month, the availability of wellness benefits is a key factor for employees when making job decisions. “We view health and wellness offerings as important amenies that a2ract and retain tenants and help our tenants a2ract and retain employees,” explains Gary Grunau, Schlitz Park developer. “We know me, convenience and ease ma2er to you and contribute to a successful wellness roune. PAGE 2 WHAT’S BREWING Sustainable Transportation: Good for the Environment John Stadler’s red Chevy Volt gets noced. Not just because of the bright color. But also because the ICare tenant is the first employee working at Schlitz Park to use our free electrical vehicle charging staon. John purchased his Volt in May because he says, “we need to promote being more environmentally friendly. Plus it’s a fun car!” Schlitz Park is the first corporate complex to offer an electrical vehicle charging staon which is located right in front of John’s office at ICare. That easy access helped influenced John’s car purchase. “What’s nice about this, is that not only is it convenient, but it’s free,” he says. “If I have to go somewhere during the work day, I can come back and plug it in and know it will be all charged up to go home.” John Stadler charges his Chevy Volt at Schlitz Park free electrical vehicle charging sta0on. Since buying the car, John has used only one tank of gas. When his car is not docked up at the charging staon, you’ll find John’s Chevy Volt in the preferred parking reserved for hybrid vehicles.
