SHOTS FIRED – ARRESTS MADE
Sycamore Township, March 7, 2016 – Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil reports the
arrest of Marquis Nelson, a male, 20 years old, and Aliyah Jackson, a female, also 20
years old.
On March 7, 2016, at approximately 1:13 a.m., Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies were
on patrol when they heard multiple gunshots in the area on 8317 Kenwood Road.
Deputies responded and located two victims which had been shot at while in their
vehicle. With the assistance of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation
Section deputies determined multiple gun shots were fired at the vehicle, and the
vehicle was struck once. Deputies recovered the hand gun used in the offense and
were able to arrest the two suspects.
