PERFORMER/BAND BIO’S
Hudson Public Schools
The Hudson Public Schools will have its 7th annual concert at Wood Park for 4th and 5th grade band and chorus students on
Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30 PM (rain location: Quinn Middle School). Students will be performing songs from the classical,
musical and popular song books. In addition to other songs, the choruses will perform "Best Day of My Life" by American Authors
and "We Will Rock You" by Queen with the 4th grade band. Come support our young instrumentalists and choral students for their
final performance of the year. Prior to the concert, there will be an "instrument petting zoo" from 5:00-6:15 PM for students in 3rd
grade to 5th grade who are interested in playing a new band instrument next year. All band instruments for students to select will be
available for students to play and they are encouraged to try as many as they'd like.
River’s Edge Arts Alliance –Arts in the Park: ARTIST APPRECIATION CONCERT
Concert by the River’s Edge is a wonderful summer concert featuring the River’s Edge Community Band, Chorale and Youth
Chorus. This year’s highlights features all three groups performing the Battle Hymn of the Republic. River’s Edge Chorale and
River’s Edge Youth Chorus will perform a combination of Popular and Broadway songs and the River’s Edge Community Band will
feature Selections from The Sound of Music and Glenn Miller in Concert. A presentation to the recipient of the Artist Appreciation
Award will also be featured.
Transistor Kings
Transistor Kings are a four piece band based in Maynard and play Americana music you can dance to at regular gigs in the local

River’s Edge Arts Alliance –Arts in the Park: SUMMER FUN CELEBRATION CONCERT
Summer Celebration will feature a preview of the Summer Drama Workshop performances of Disney Cinderella Kids by Theater
Too! , Shrek, Jr. by students of Children’s Theater and The Who’s Tommy by students of Youth Theater. The performances of
these groups in July will be a culmination of a great year our “Season of Compassion” themed performances and events.
New England Banjo Orchestra
The New England Banjo Orchestra is a group of banjoists and a tuba that have formed as an orchestra with beautiful harmonies
accompanying the melody of the songs in our repertoire. These songs are from the early 20th century up to the 1960’s. Songs from
the Great American Songbook. The founder and director of the New England Banjo Orchestra is an inductee to the American Banjo
Music Hall of Fame.
The Paul Rodriguez Band
The Paul Rodriguez Band is a local band out of Framingham. The band is an inter-generational band in that two of the members are
under 21. The band made frequent appearances at The Harvest Cafe in Hudson and also are regulars at The Westender Bar in
Marlboro, The Nobscot Cafe in Framingham and The Turtle Tavern in Milford. The Paul Rodriguez Band plays a little bit of
everything from the last 50 years through today including Steely Dan, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Barenaked Ladies and Ed
Sheeran among many others.
THE WORKINGMAN’S BAND
The Workingman’s Band performs classic music from the the golden era of rock and roll - the 1950’s and 60’s.
Including songs performed at the 1969 Woodstock Festival by such legendary artists as Canned Heat, Jefferson
Airplane, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Crosby Stills & Nash, Paul Butterfield, Creedence Clearwater Revival
The band features guitarist/vocalist Tom Yates formerly of Hudson H.S. class of 1970.
Flashback
Flashback Band is a 5 piece classic rock`n roll band from Marlborough playing music of the 60`s and 70`s that bring back great
memories of that era.
Vicki and Sticks
Vicki & Sticks is husband and wife team Vicki and Rick Ethier. Their interactive music/family show encourages audience participation
as the children become part of the band!
Mister Vic
Mister Vic is a local, well-loved children’s music educator, performer, and director of Music Together of Assabet Valley, a music
program for children birth through age four with the adults who love them. For over eighteen years, Mister Vic has been leading
interactive music experiences where young children and their families are welcome to make music with him by singing, dancing, and

Jeannie Mack Kids’ Music
Accompanying herself on guitar, Jeannie performs all kinds of fun, bounce-around, songs geared for kids 1 – 8 years old. Be
prepared to clap along, sing along, dance like no one’s watching, and use your imaginations to act out stories through song!
