HANDCRAFTED CANDLES
After Sunday Masses a group of ladies of the parish is
selling Easter Candles that are handmade decorated. All
proceeds are for the new church building.

EASTER EGGS
For the third year, we will be observing this initiative in
manifesting to the people of Santa Clara County the mercy
and love of God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Every Wednesdays March 22, 29, April 5
and 12 in any Catholic Church of the diocese,
Confessions will be heard from 6-8pm.
Eggs remind us of the new life that is present for all
of us in the Resurrection of Jesus. In ancient times
eggs were a symbol of spring and fertility. During
the Middle-Ages, the eating of eggs was prohibited
during Lent. On Easter morning,
Christians would give eggs to one
another to celebrate the breaking of
the Lenten fast. The egg became the
symbol of the tomb from which Christ emerged,
calling us all to resurrection and new life. When
you dye Easter eggs, think about what colors mean:
red - Jesus blood; purple - being sorry for sin; green
- new life; gold - resurrection.

This Sunday a second collection is taken up for the Catholic Relief Services. Your donation will help humanitarian
aid to resettling displaced people
and families, and advocating of

Une tu cruz o cruces a la de
Jesús. Escribe en la tarjetita cuál es tu pena o tu
cruz y luego clávala a la cruz de Cristo puesta al
lado del altar. El te ayudará a cargarla con mayor
sosiego.

SEGUNDA COLECTA
Este domingo hacemos una segunda colecta para Catholic
Relief Services (Servicios Católicos de Desarrollo Social).
Nuestra caridad ayudará varias familias de refugiados a
integrarse en las comunidades de llegada y ayudará a grupos de defensa legal en favor de los migrantes en el mundo.

somehow things got mixed up and I said ‘marriage’ was the
main cause of divorce.”
