Classroom Decoration and Play Areas:
Create a home in your dramatic play area. Provide play
food, clothes, baby dolls and items, areas to cook food,
a clock, phones, and other house materials.
Place different size mirrors all around the room.

Make small batches of scented play
dough for children to pretend to make
birthday cakes.

Fine Motor Skills:
Fill a basket with clothing containing a variety of
fasteners. Children can practice zippers, buttons,
snaps, and buckles.
Birthday Cake scented oil can be found
in craft stores near the candle or soap
making supplies.
Provide candles, and foam pieces for
decorations.
Block / Dramatic Play Center:
Move the doll house people and furniture from the dollhouse
to block area to encourage the children to create their own
designs for houses.
