OFFICIAL EVENT GUIDELINES
1. You must have a Mall of America® wristband in order to enter the autograph line.
2. A limited number of wristbands will be distributed in Southeast Court beginning at 11 a.m. on
Saturday, May 23. Wristbands are available on a first come, first serve basis only.
3. You must have a copy of Dave Ryan’s book, Take a Shower, Show Up on Time and Don't Steal
Anything (And Other Sh*t I've Learned the Hard Way), in order to receive a wristband. Books will be
for sale in Southeast Court beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 23.
4. Each person in your party must be present to receive a wristband. Wristbands are non-transferable.
You may not pick up wristbands for another member of your party.
5. Guests wearing wristbands that have been tampered with or altered will not be allowed through the
autograph line. No exceptions.
6. Posed photographs will be allowed at this event.
7. Personalization will be allowed at this event.
8. Memorabilia will be signed at this event (up to 3 items).
9. When you enter the autograph line, please remain single file. You must stay in line to keep your
place. You may leave the line to use the restroom or get food for a short period of time, but one
member of your party must remain in line.
10. If you choose to leave for an extended period of time, you must go to the end of the line when you
return.
11. A special needs signing area will be available for guests with wristbands. If needed, each special
guest can bring one additional person to this area. Please visit the Mall of America wristband table in
the Rotunda upon your arrival and you will be escorted to this area. Space is limited and is filled on a
first come, first serve basis.
Guidelines are subject to change at any given time at the discretion of Mall of America management for the
safety and well being of our guests and tenants. Those who do not comply with event signing guidelines may
not be able to receive an autograph. Please visit www.mallofamerica.com periodically before the event for updates
and changes that may be made to these guidelines.
