Welcome
Welcome to the world headquarters of ASTM International in West Conshohocken, PA – the home of one of
the world’s largest providers of consensus standards, conformity assessment programs and supporting
technical services. Located about 15 miles from Philadelphia, the location is easily accessible to downtown
(by train or by car), the Philadelphia International Airport, and to a variety of local sites such as Valley Forge.
Getting Here: Transportation, Lodging and Location
Pages 2 and 3 provide maps, contact information and specific recommendations regarding lodging and
accessibility to ASTM by plane, train, or automobile. ASTM is located near a commuter train to downtown
Philadelphia, providing access to 30th Street Station. Philadelphia International Airport is 24 miles east of
ASTM, accessible by shuttle, cab and car service, and a Marriott is conveniently located next door.
Meetings / Meeting Space
ASTM committees and related activities are welcome to meet at ASTM Headquarters any time the space is
available, at no charge (exception to catering and special needs). Meeting space and services are also
available to private groups, and is sometimes donated (or offered at reduced rate) to charities and local
businesses or municipal groups as part of ASTM’s good neighbor program. Inquire about availability and

Meeting Rooms
ASTM has as many as 10 meeting rooms throughout the building, some of which can be combined to hold
over 100 persons. ASTM meeting rooms provide a bright and pleasant experience. Rooms are modern and
clean, with high ceilings and comfortable seating. They are well lit, with a range of lighting that can be
variably controlled. Exterior walls contain continuous strings of windows for panoramic views of
Conshohocken and the Schuylkill River, and artwork enhances interior walls. Staff can accommodate any
setup, including theatre, school room, hollow-U, hollow square, conference table, etc.
Audio Visual
All ASTM meeting rooms are outfitted for virtually any audio-visual amenity needed to conduct an effective
meeting in today’s business environment. This includes:

Staff and Administrative Support
ASTM staff will manage the registration process, assisting with pre- and onsite registration, badge making,
roster generation, pre-meeting material preparation, and more. Internally, ASTM maintains a Canon copy
facility that can manage most copy/binding and mailing need. This is in addition to copiers placed throughout
the building. The 4th floor maintains 3 guest computers for use by visitors and attendees.
Food and Beverage
ASTM provides AM and PM coffee and water at all meetings. ASTM meetings staff can arrange for any onsite catering needs. Because of strong relationships with local business, the caterings is high-quality and low
cost. Inquire with Anne Galligan about food, beverage and snacks, including breakfasts, luncheons, dinners,
and receptions. Groups may supply their own food. Please advise ASTM staff in advance, so we can
accommodate utensil, refrigeration, display and disposal needs.

ASTM International HQ – General Meeting Information
Transportation, Lodging & Location
From Philadelphia International Airport:
ASTM is located 24 miles (38km) from Philadelphia International Airport.
Take Interstate 95 South to Route 476 North. Take Route 476 North to exit 16A, Conshohocken. Proceed
down the exit ramp to the light and turn right onto Matson Ford Road. Turn right at light onto Front
Street (Route 23 East). Turn left at LukOil Station (Crawford Avenue). Pass the Marriott Hotel. At first
street (Barr Harbor Drive) make a left. The parking garage is located on the right-hand side past the
entrance of the building.
Shuttle Service:
Tropiano (800/559-2040 or 215-616-5370) operates from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., departing every 30
minutes. Advance reservations are required. The fare is $26 each way.
Sedan/Limo/Car Service:

Offers door-to-door private service with a one day's notice. Anything later will be based on availability.
Taxi:
The taxi fare from the airport is approximately $65.
From Philadelphia 30th Street Train Station:
ASTM is located 14 miles (22km) from Amtrak's 30th Street Station.
SEPTA Service (www.septa.org)
Take the Manayunk/Norristown Line to Conshohocken (Location #4
on p. 3). The cost is $6.00 during peak hours; $5.50 off peak. At
Conshohocken, proceed to the pedestrian walkway. Cross the bridge to
West Conshohocken to ASTM HQ and Philadelphia Marriott West.
Taxi: The taxi fare from 30th Street Station is approximately $35.
