Cheetahs are the fastest animal in the world! They can reach a top speed of around 113km per hour. They have a small head which is not very heavy making it easy for them to run faster than other big cats. They only need to drink once every three to four days. Cheetahs can be found mainly in Africa and Asia. Their babies are very sacred because other animals eat them. The cheetahs are hard to see because it is spotted and it blends with the tall dry grass of the plains. Cheetahs can see in the dark. They eat small to medium size animals such as impala and gazelles. Cheetahs are in danger because people kill them for their fur so it is important that we try and protect them.
