Shelby County Senior Scene July 2016 Where Can I see Fireworks? Alabaster - is hosting its fireworks show on July 2 at a new location behind the old silo on Highway 119 between the Alabaster Post Office and the Publix shopping center. 9 p.m. Hear accompanying music on radio station APH 99.9. Chelsea - Big Kaboom will again deliver a fireworks show on July 3 above the Chelsea Park subdivision. Entertainment will happen in the park area starting at 8 p.m., and the fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. Harpersville - Morgan Creek Vineyards and Winery will present live music, wine tours, wine tastings, barbecue and fireworks on July 4. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. and last until around 10 p.m. Admission is $10 Helena - The First Friday gathering that attracts numerous vendors and visitors to the Old Town area will happen from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m on Friday July 1. The fireworks show will follow First Friday's conclusion. Montevallo - The American Village's Independence Day 1776 celebration will provide a patriotic day filled with plenty of activities on July 4. Gates open at 11 a.m. Admission is $5 per person. Veterans, active duty military and children ages 4 and younger receive free admission. Food trucks on site. Fireworks start at twilight. Pelham – The third annual "Fire on the Water" fireworks celebration at Oak Mountain State Park will happen around Double Oak Lake from 5 to 9 p.m. – Regular park admission until 5 pm, then $5 per carload afterward.
