PCH Water Polo Camp 2017

PARKWAY CENTRAL
WATER POLO
What is water polo?
Water polo is a spring team water sport consisting of 6 players and a goalie
on each side. It involves swimming, treading, passing, and shooting a ball into
a goal. It most similarly compares to handball in the water.
Do you need prior experience?
Definitely not, most St. Louis water polo players start playing the game in
high school. The JV level has a heavy focus on rules and fundamentals.
Is there a camp this summer?
Yes, we are having a camp July 10-14 from 9:00-11:00am at the Parkway
Central pool. The camp will focus on teaching the sport while having fun. Fill
out the form below and turn in to the Activities Office. Cost is $50 and
includes a t-shirt.
What other ways can you get involved in the sport?
There are St. Louis club water polo teams that cater towards those just
learning the sport to elite high school competition. Contact Coach Andrew
Schonhoff to put you in touch with these clubs.
