What does my child need for camp
on a daily basis?

2 Bathing Suits - Please send your child to camp with 2 bathing suits each day. If possible, please
have your child wear their bathing suit under their clothes in the morning. This makes it easier
for the children to change for their morning swim. They will be given time to change out of their
bathing suits into dry clothes when the swim period is over.

Towel – Please pack a towel for your child to help keep them warm when they come out of the water!

Sun Block lotion – Please send your child with a bottle of sun block lotion that they can keep at
camp. As safety is our number one concern, we want to make sure the children are having fun while
being protected from the sun. Campers will have time throughout the day to reapply their sun
block. *If you could please apply some lotion on the children before they arrive at camp in the
morning it would be very helpful.

Water Bottle – An endless amount of ice water will be supplied for the children throughout the day
but if you would like, you may send a water bottle with your child. We do recycle here at Malibu and
suggest just sending your child in with a Poland Spring like water bottle if you choose.

Snack – The children will be provided with a snack with their lunch and an afternoon snack. If you
would like to provide an additional snack for your child you may do so.
* Please keep in mind that we are peanut-free *

Sneakers – Although we do many some of our activities in the sand we also enjoy ourselves indoors
and often on sports courts and fields. Please send your child to camp wearing sneakers each
day. You may pack a pair of flip flops in their bag if you would like.

Sweatshirt – We never know when the sun can disappear and we can become a little chilly! Don’t
forget to purchase and pack your Camp Malibu Sweatshirt!

Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten – Please bring a foldable rest mat for your child to keep at camp
for the summer for story and snack time.
* Please make sure to label all items with your child’s first name, last
name and group name. Sometimes permanent marker isn’t as permanent
