How to download eMagazines with a Kindle device
In order to read eMagazines through the Howard Miller Public library, you may want to
download the Zinio app. To do this, you will
need a tablet device, so Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, and Kindle Voyager will not be compatible. In order to get the app, you will have to
sideload* the app from a third party source.
2. Using your browser, search for "Zinio Kindle
Fire."
3. Click on the "Download Now" option that fits
your device. Your Kindle will not be happy with
this decision and will tell you that you're risking
your Kindle. In this case, the app should not have
a negative impact on your device unless you
download too many magazines.
4. Create an account following the directions
given to you on the screen.
5. Browse the magazine titles to add magazines
to your personal account.
Warning:
6. OR you can search by genre, title, alphabet or
keyword.
*Sideloading from a third party source may
put you at risk for viruses. Download at
your own discretion.
