Sweden is a large country and distances between the different actors of the national network may at times be large. To tackle this problem, minimise travelling costs and time consumption, virtual think tanks were created. The mechanism proved to be efficient: not only some of the outcome of those virtual meeting contributed to shape the content of the Swedish RDP but it also helped decrease the feeling of isolation that some stakeholders may have felt. Sound-effective structured meeting and quick feedback on participants’ comments is crucial to make this type of meetings work.
