The following was done  A brain storming session on what an inquiry is
 Reading, understanding and discussing the central idea
 Discussion of vocabulary from the central idea – ‘system’,
‘effective’ and ‘interaction’ for a better understanding of the
central idea
 Worked on a KWL chart (What I Know, what I Want to
know, what Learnt) on body parts and body systems
 Found the dictionary meaning of ‘Systems’
 Researched and sorted body parts as external and internal
organs/parts.
 Found and wrote names of body systems
 Researched on body systems
 Recapitulated on nouns and adjectives through the game ‘I
Spy’
 Identified and classified the nouns into common nouns and
proper nouns through a listening skill activity
 Made sentences to reinforce verbs
 Revisited punctuation marks
 Students were involved in recapitulation of numbers
 They were familiarized to the general understanding of
numbers as well as the ability to apply this understanding in
developing useful strategies for solving problems
 Students read and wrote numbers till 9999 and worked on a
variety of computational strategies like more/less, comparing
and ordering, in between, number names of numbers till
9999
