Services Description
Flat Fee Moving is following a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods,
measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. We want to be the leader in a new way of
making moving with our company the last thing to be worried about.
The price below is an HOURLY RATE. Each hour will be charge as the rate above and includes
the following services:
 Door to Door Service.
 Basic Disassembling and re-assembling of furniture.
(We assemble only what we dissasemble)
 Labor, Loading and Unloading.
 Weekends and Holidays.
 Fuel, Mileage and Taxes
 Free unlimited furniture padding.
 Free basic liability Coverage of $0.60 per lbs per item.
 Full Value Protection: This option with an additional fee will cover your entire shipment
based on the weight of your goods for a minimum of $6 per pound.
 For Additional Insurance please go to Moving Insurance 1.888.893.8835, policy can be
purchased 2 days prior to the move date.
**ANY ADDITIONAL HALF OR ENTIRE HOUR WILL BE CHARGE PER THE RATE ABOVE **
Please review carefully the following Terms and Conditions that will apply to your move
unless specified otherwise.
 PACKING YOUR GOODS
Packing materials are excluded and not included in the transportation cost.
Unless packing services are ordered, customer must pack all boxes & fragile items. Personal
effects in plastic bags are not allowed on the truck.
Flat Fee Moving will not transport any uncrated mirrors, marble, pictures, glass tops or lamps,
box springs and mattresses, and all other unpacked fragile items.
Please note that FLAT FEE MOVING has no knowledge of the said content and/or condition of
boxes that were packed by the customer (shipper), therefore Flat Fee Moving will not accept
any claims for a damage item in a box unless there is a clear and visible evidence that damage
occurred during our handling.
 FURNITURE TRANSPORTATION:
FLAT FEE MOVING requires that all drawers MUST be emptied prior to the day of move,
furniture with full drawers will not be transported due to high risk of damage to walls &
floors.
NO plastic bags, live plants, NO propane tanks or Guns will be allowed on our trucks or will be
transported. FLAT FEE MOVING will not be responsible for any claim damages on press wood
items.
 STAIRS AND LONG CARRY
The first flight of stairs is free at pick up and destination (10 steps).Each additional flight will
be charge at $75.00 per flight.
The first 75FT will be free at pick up and destination. Each additional 50FT there after will be
$75.00.
 SERVICE ELEVATOR:
Be sure to note the locations of Service Elevators at both your current and new locations.
Many locations require that you reserve the elevators prior to the move date. That way you
will avoid additional labor charges to the original agreement. Please note that Elevator fee of
$50 may apply.
 CANCELLATIONS:
You may reschedule your move up to 2 times with no additional fee 48hrs prior to the move
date. Any additional date change after that will be a $75.00 fee.
Should you cancel your scheduled move at least 5 DAYS before the move there will be NO
CANCELLATION FEE and your deposit payment will be refunded minus 6% processing fee.
Should you cancel within 5 DAYS prior the move (not including the move date) your deposit
will be turn into a cancellation fee and there will be no refund.
 TERMS OF PAYMENT
Deposit is $100.00 or 10% of the estimate in Cash, Certified Check, Credit Card (3% credit card
fee will apply) or Money Order. Payment on the move date will done AT THE DELIVERY END
PRIOR TO UNLOADING OF THE GOODS.
By providing the credit/debit card information for deposit and book the move the customer
above acknowledges and authorize Flat Fee Moving to charge the card based on the
cancellation policy. We Do Not accept personal checks, official checks, or traveler checks.
Check your "Rights and Responsibilities" when contracting a mover.
