Dear Parents and Guardians,
I’d like to congratulate the children and teachers involved on a fabulous Albany camp this
week. On a number of levels this is an important event in the lives of the children, worth
every minute.
To our P&F, what an effort! Congratulations on Saturday’s welcome back to school
Sundowner, and Monday’s Maggie Dent presentation. I think it fair to say that both these
events are really important ones in the life of our school this year. We are in your debt.
Assemblies tee off next week with Fiona Ayling and her 4C gang. We hope to see you
there. A list of children receiving awards at the assembly can be found in this newsletter.

P & F NEWS
We are excited to announce three new appointments to the
P&F executive this year. Two longstanding members of our
committee, Al King & Nathan Byrne have stepped up to fill
the roles of Secretary and Vice President and Mark Nolan has
agreed to take on the position of P & F Representative to the
School Board.
We would like to thank Rachel Nash for her amazing work as
Secretary and she has agreed to stay on with the P&F to help
out with our ongoing events and work.
Just a reminder about our meeting on Tuesday 28th Feb at
7pm, we have lots to discuss so it would be great to have you
all there.
We are stilling looking for a few more committee members to
join us this year, I think it is important to have a broad range
of views and to help share the load, so if you have friends or
members of your children's year group who you think will
add value to the P&F invite them along to come and have a
look – 7pm Tuesday 28 February in the staff room.
