Discover in our beautiful Tudor ruins, a hidden oasis of wild flowers, secret gardens and banqueting
palaces, exclusively yours for the whole day.* Parade where lords and ladies strolled, dine where a
queen feasted and drink where an apothecary made his potions! However, you won’t need a potion
to fall in love with our stunning venue or need a fortune to celebrate here.

Our experienced wedding coordinator will be delighted to hear your ideas and specialises in
saying yes to suggestions and making your unique dreams come true. Here you can create your
perfect day supported by our friendly, knowledgeable staff who will ensure you enjoy it in your
own unique way!

Your Wedding…
For smaller, intimate weddings we have four unique licensed rooms in our Grade II listed Tudor
Turret House. These range from the panelled Mary Queen of Scots room which seats 12 guests to
our ornate banqueting room which holds up to 25 guests. Each room will be specially laid out to
meet your requirements. For larger weddings our brides process down our wildflower aisle before
having their ceremony in the Turret House’s charming doorway. Up to 240 guests can be seated
outside in our spectacular grounds.

Whether you want an intimate, romantic ceremony or a large and lively celebration, we’ll make
sure your day is as special as you’ve always dreamed.

Your Wedding…
We can help you create a reception that expresses who you are, with special touches that will
make your day unforgettable. From formal cuisine in a stylish marquee to bring-your-own-picnic
on hay bales and everything in between; the choice is yours. However you choose to celebrate,
whether with a disco, donkey rides, ceilidh, nerf battle or chilling beside a fire with friends, we’ll
help you make it happen.
Your Way…
We can cater for 54 in our unique Discovery Centre, up to 60 across the three floors of the
historic Turret House and up to 240 in elegant marquees.
We fully staff all our receptions and we’ll be on hand until the very last guest leaves.

Your Wedding…
From mouth watering street food to a formal wedding breakfast, afternoon tea to BBQ and
buffets, canapes served in our secret garden or pie and peas served with mint sauce, our
experienced caterers Rhubarb Shed will surpass all expectations.
Your Way…
Fancy a tasty hog roast, freshly made pizzas from a wood fired oven or even a “99” from an
ice cream van we’re more than happy to work with your choice of caterers, you aren’t tied to
ours. As regards drinks, we can recommend a hire bar for your reception or you can bring your
own alcohol, which we will chill for you in our very own Tudor cold room!

engagement or recreate the magic of your wedding day on your anniversary with a photo
shoot in our stunning grounds.

Whether it be your bridal party’s entrance down the wildflower aisle, children playing in the
lavender maze, an intimate embrace in the apothecary’s garden or a family portrait in front of
the Long Gallery, we have seven iconic locations waiting for you.
