Awesome Animal Adaptations
Long tail
Try to find out what animal this is! If you
do you will get one as a pet. First, the animal does not need to drink and get water,
they need from their food. Next, they
have long legs to help them jump away
from predators. Also, their shelter is the
desert. Good job you get one as a pet.

The Striped Clown Fish
Look! There is a fat little
clown fish, zoom to hide
from the predator. First,
clown fish live in anemones which sting their predator. Next, the clown fish
hides. This helps to protect
themselves. Also, the
anemone provides protection from the clown fish’s
predator. That’s why they
zoom.
Creepy Black Widow
They are spooky and
scary, read on to find out.
First, it traps its prey in its
web. So he/she can have
something to eat. Next,
the widows bite with two
fangs that injects venom
into the insect. Mean
while the widow has
quickly wrapped its prey
into silk. Here’s why I don't
like black widows.

Camouflage
Here’s another animal you
have to guess! Go ahead
guess what the camouflaged animal is. First, the
colors warn birds that the
moths are unpleasant or
poisonous to eat. This is
protection. Also, the tiger
moth lives all over Eu-
rope , as well as North
America. You get another
treat because you guessed
the right animal the tiger
moth.

Slimy Frogs
Look there is a frog that is
hopping every where.
Where did it go? It is probably gone to its habitat.
First, frogs make different
sounds to warn other
frogs. This is protection for
the other frogs. Next,
some frogs can breathe
threw their own skin. Also,
they have long legs to get
to its habitat. Now you
can see that frogs are
weird.
Sand Lizard
If you want to turn camo, follow me! First, the sand lizard is
found inhabiting grass and
health-lands along coastal
dunes throughout its native
range with extends from the
United Kingdom. Next, unlike
snakes this lizard has an outer
ear opening, and movable eyelids. Also, they cannot “unhinge– their jaws. Where did
you go?

Animal Classification
This is going to be the
section about how to classify
all 7 animal groups.
The first animal to classify is the mammal group. A
mammal gives live birth, they
give milk to babies, warmblooded, fur or hair, breathe
through lungs.
Next group is the birds
group. Birds are warmblooded, lay eggs, wings and
beaks, all have feather, feed
there babies.
Next group is the fish.
Fish are cold-blooded, breathe
through gills, live in water, and
have scales.
We also have the reptiles. Reptiles are cold-blooded,
they have scales, lay eggs,
some live on land and some
live in water, breathe through
lungs.
Amphibians are coldblooded, live on both land and
water, lay eggs, smooth moist
slimy, both gills to breathe in
water and lungs to breathe on
land.
Insects have a four
stage life cycle, 6 legs, head
thorax abdomen are the body
parts, exoskeleton.
Arachnids are coldblooded, 8 legs, have 2 body
parts, exoskeleton, lay eggs,
compound eyes.
