SAFETY
This product is supplied complete with a 13-amp plug with 3-amp fuse. This product should not be
modified. If any modifications are made, including tampering with the plug, it may render the product
unsafe.
Under no circumstances must the head be covered, and ensure that the lamp is kept clear of flammable
materials, such as bedding, curtains and soft fabrics, etc…
If the flexible cable on this fitting is damaged then it cannot be replaced and the fitting must be

This fitting is double insulated and must not be earthed. If in doubt, we recommend you consult a

HOW TO USE YOUR DESK LAMP
• Remove the product carefully from the packaging.
• Place the base on a firm stable flat surface.
• Fit the recommended bulb type: Max. 25w
25w SES R50 Spotlight or equivalent Energy
Energy Saver or LED lamp
(not supplied)
• Plug in to test. The lamp is turned on and off using the switch along the cable. If the product fails to
light, unplug before investigating.
Spotlights give a concentrated beam of light and the symbol shown means that
that the lamp head must
not be placed closer than 0.2m (20cm) to the lit surface. These fittings become hot in use. Switch off and
allow to cool before adjustment or maintenance.
