Exercise 3 – Writing the Main Idea
The main idea says what something is about. Every story you write must have a main idea.
Read the sentences below and look at the picture. Then pick out the main idea and underline it.
Yundi was riding his bike when fell and hurt his knee.
He needed to go to the hospital.
Yundi rode in an ambulance to the hospital.
A doctor checked him out and he is fine.
