You can pick up an application in the office. Directions on how to enter 4th 9 weeks and 2nd semester grades are in your mailbox. When entering senior grades remember on step #23 to put in “E”, check the override box, and load again from gradebook so final grades will calculate. Letter to the Parents: Be aware that Mrs. Wisdom has spoken to the SR English classes and each senior was given a packet which includes a wealth of information. Make sure you ask your child for this information if you haven’t received it. Topics covered were: ACT & Compass Testing Arkansas Rehabilitation Services Resumes & Letters of Recommendations College Fairs, Visits, & Tours Also- UAFS applications were completed by all seniors. Don’t forget to complete housing application if you intend to live on campus!!! UPCOMING EVENTS & DATES: FAFSA (after 1/1/2016) Federal Application for Free Student Aid 1. First, both SRs and parents need to go to fsaid.ed.gov to receive individual FSA IDs. 2. Have both student and parent SS numbers handy. 3. Will need 2016 Federal Tax return info for both student and parent. 4. Have records of any untaxed income, and any other assets for you and parent available 5. Go to fafsa.ed.gov and complete the online application. YOUNIVERSAL APPLICATION Every SR will need to complete this AFTER JAN 1, 2016, for the AR Challenge, Governor’s Distinguished, Go Grants, etc. scholarships.adhe.edu Remember…wait until after Jan1, 2016! ACT INFORMATION: Once you apply on-line to the college(s) of your choice- you must let the office know so that we can mail your official transcript, ACT scores, and shot records! NCAA eligibilitycenter.org Athletes should have registered with the NCAA eligibility center. Make sure you are sending your act scores to ncaa by putting 9999 in as one of the codes when asked where you want your scores sent.
