GROUP EXERCISE
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
ABS/CORE: A quick and effective workout designed to get your core in shape. Stability ball, bands or weights may be
used. Lower back exercises may be included. All levels are welcome.
ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS CARDIO: Enjoy fun, low-impact exercise as you move through a variety of exercises designed
for active older adults. Increase your muscular strength and range of movement as well as your cardiovascular fitness,
helping with activities of daily living.
BODYPUMP™: This barbell class will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast. Focusing on low weight loads
and high repetition movements, you’ll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning.
BOOT CAMP: This is a challenging, highly structured, athletic-based class. No choreography is involved. The class will
incorporate plyometric training and physical military moves.
CARDIO DANCE: This is a mix of hi-low, aerobic dance and toning to challenge or accommodate various fitness levels.
CIRCUIT TRAINING: A circuit workout that includes speed and agility drills, athletic step, running/power walking, jump
rope, abs and stretching.
CYCLE: Get an aerobic workout that's easy on your joints with Cycle class. Our indoor Cycle classes simulate outdoor
riding with sprinting, hill climbing and other techniques. Classes may include core work, too, to strengthen your
abdomen and lower back. All levels are welcome, and workouts can be adapted to fit your goals and needs.
FAMILY GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES: Family classes are available in Zumba® and Cardio. Please see our schedule for
ages. A parent must attend Family designated classes with their child.
FIT KIDS: This class combines games and fitness activities for youth in a fun-filled workout that will increase cardio and
strength endurance.
FLEXIBILITY/STRETCH: This class is designed to improve your balance, flexibility and range of motion while
strengthening your core muscles. Relaxation and flexibility techniques with a special emphasis on stretching will be
used.
HIP HOP DANCE: This class is a fierce and fun fitness class that exemplifies methods of urban street dancing while
incorporating a cardio vascular workout.
HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (H.I.I.T.): This class includes plyometric drills, strength, power, resistance and
abs/core training moves.
KETTLEBELL: Functional, compound exercises work multiple muscle groups simultaneously, developing strength and
muscular endurance and efficient caloric expenditure. With a focus on integrating breathing, movement and alignment
with your ability to control balance and weight.
MAT PILATES: A conditioning program that improves muscle control, flexibility, coordination, strength and tone, Based
on proper breathing, good posture and intense concentration, the exercises are performed on a mat and can make use
of other equipment (i.e., BOSU, medicine balls).
PILATES/YOGA: Combines yoga and Pilates into one class to stretch and strengthen your core.
POWER YOGA: Has all the elements of yoga; emphasizes stretching, strengthening, endurance and mind focus.
R.I.P.P.E.D.™: Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, Diet: set to jamming music with easy to follow
routines. It’s a time-efficient one stop body shock system-a total body workout with a variety of formats within each
session.
SHALLOW WATER EXERCISE: This water workout consists of cardio, resistance training and core work in shallow water.
SILVERSNEAKERS® CLASSIC: Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power
with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a
SilverSneakers® ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used for standing support, stretching
and relaxation exercises.
SILVERSNEAKERS® YOGA: SilverSneakers® Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and
standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to
increase flexibility, balance and range of motion. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress
reduction and mental clarity.

STEP: Enhance your cardio endurance in this high energy class. Workouts are choreographed to offer full body exercise
with movements on and around a step. Benefits also include improved coordination and balance.
TAE BO®: An intense workout regimen combining tae kwon do and boxing. This martial arts rapid paced workout is
designed to promote fitness and increase health through movement.
YOGA: Yoga builds a strong body, mind and spirit. This class incorporates Yoga postures, breathing exercises and a
mind focus to improve balance, strength and flexibility. Yoga props are offered to safely perform exercises. Restorative
breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
ZUMBA®: This cardio-Latin fusion class features aerobic interval training to maximize fat burning and total body toning,
all to incredible music with moves that are easy to learn!
ZUMBA® CIRCUIT: A short, high-octane workout class that combines interval training with Latin-inspired moves for a
30-minute full body workout.
