HEXAGON is a contemporary interpretation of
a form, already known in ancient Greek geometry.
The regular six-edged-units are each divided by
vertical sheets. Stacked they produce a beautiful
rotational symmetry, typical for the HEXAGON, which
Nendo cleverly exploits. They come in several
heights, varying from 72 cm to 178 cm, with a 36 cm
model and higher models, other colours or with
turntable also available upon request.

Nendo
Nendo is a design studio founded by Oki Sato and is
based in Tokyo, Singapore and Milan. Nendo
concentrates on tranquil products and technically
advanced research. He realizes small surprises to
people through a multidisciplinary practice. In
January 2010, an overview of his work was exhibited
in The Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
Besides designing furniture, Nendo recently designed
the exhibition space of the 21th century Museum of
Contemporary Art in Japan and concept stores for
Issey Miyaka, amongst other designs. Nendo was
‘Designer of the Year’ (Wallpaper* magazine) and
‘Designer of the Year’ (Elle Deco International Design
Award) in 2012.

Materials, construction
Materials: powder coated sheet steel (horizontal
panels) & extruded aluminium (vertical panels)
Construction: each Hexagon has six adjustable feet
and can be used freestanding (extremely stable).
Turning mechanism for Hexagon, which can be
mounted under the cabinet, additional height
approximately 1,5 cm. Hardly visible, covered in a
black powder coating
Colours
Colours: mat traffic white (RAL 9016).
Other colours upon request.
