race, and ownership of hogs and shoats. Major parties involved include
Guillaume Girouard and Edward Roberson, Rebecca Jones and Joshia Lee,
Jeremiah Thomson and Edward Roberson, and Felix Hoover and Solomon Thorn.
Bills of sale, 1798-1802. Documents, including an itemized inventory, related to the
public sale of a house, land, and personal property of James Tate. Bills of sale for
slaves of Jeremiah Thomson and Alexander Baillie to James Richardson, Samuel
Randel, and Guillaume Girouard.
Bonds, notes, and obligations, 1798-1819. Washington County estate administrator's
bonds. Citations on the estates of Andrew Dinwiddie and John Hyde, 1816-1819.
Promissory notes signed by Edward Robinson, 1799; Daniel Mullins, John Scott,
and Peter Godair, 1805; and Moses Byrne, 1806. Obligations of Edward
