For six years the Broadcasters Foundation of America has been at his side providing the financial assistance necessary for him to regain an acceptable level of independence and maintain his personal dignity. A 30-year nationally known radio personality in the final years of his life suffering from Lou Gehrig’s Disease. This individual has been able to remain in his home surroundings because of the support of the Broadcasters Foundation of America. The wife and mother of two young girls of a broadcaster who died of a massive heart attack in the prime of his career. Three weeks after his death she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
