A patient was anxious after a prolonged bedside
discussion by hospital doctors. “Don’t you know what’s
wrong with me?” he asked his doctor. “Where did you
get that idea?” he replied.
“All the other doctors
disagreed with you, didn’t they?”
“To some extent, but don’t worry”, said the doctor
consolingly.
“In a similar case, I stood firm on my
diagnosis - and the post-mortem proved me right!”
Prayer of the day: Hidden God, whose wisdom compels our love
and unsettles all our values: fill us with desire to search for her truth,
that we may transform the world, becoming fools for her sake,
through Jesus Christ, your Word and Wisdom made flesh, to whom
be glory for ever. AMEN

to use at the rear of the church either during or after the service. We

refreshments and a chat following the 9.30am service.

considering there are only two of them to cover the whole diocese!
Wednesday Reflections continues this week - Wednesday 22
February then Ash Wednesday will follow on 1 March.
Is St Christopher’s reflecting the light? Were you all dazzled?
Doesn’t everything look fresh and clean?
Ready for our 50th
Anniversary in July! Congratulations to the Council and to Andrew
Scotford for organising the painting of our Church.
The Lunching Ladies have passed on 21 teddy bears to Gary Davis,
Judith’s husband, who belongs to a group of wonderful dentists who
travel to Vietnam four times a year. They give dental treatment to
many children, both in the schools and in orphanages. Each child
also receives a bag with toothbrush, tooth paste, information and a
teddy.
Entertainment Books will be available very soon. Please put your
names down - they are great value and raise significant funds for the
Chaplaincy at Churchlands High School (almost 3,000 students!).

healthy is now available in the foyer.
It is also good for dipping plant

empties today of its strength.
