St John`s needs you The Diocesan Lent Appeal this year is for

St John’s needs you
With Jo Mason’s upcoming move to Cheshunt, she feels that the Jam sessions on
Monday mornings will be harder to manage. This group is a successful
Community effort and it would be a shame not to have it. Is there anyone who
feels that they could take on this venture please? Please talk to Revd Lynn if this
is something you can take on.
We are looking for new people, especially members of our Junior Church, to
add to our rota of those who can read the lessons & lead the prayers. Also some
people to welcome visitors at the door. If you would like to be added to the list
please tell Brian or Rob.
We are also looking for new people to add to our choir! If you would like to
join—please see Janet Hollington and/or Angela
The Diocesan Lent Appeal this year is for “Sowing Seeds for
Tomorrow in Angola and Mozambique” and St John’s is
encouraging parishioners to support this cause. Special
envelopes are provided for this purpose and the loose cash
collection on Sunday 26th March (Mothering Sunday) will also
be donated to this cause.
