SOJOURNER TRUTH AND ME
Sojourner Truth wanted everyone to be treated fairly and she worked hard to achieve
her goal. I worked hard to achieve my goal of being better at soccer.
MY ACCOMPLISHMENT
I worked hard to reach my goal of being a better defender in soccer. A defender
blocks the ball. I practiced a lot. I practiced kicking the ball on the wall with my sister.
I would pretend the wall was a goal and my sister would try and score and I tried to
block. At first she scored a lot. I wanted to quit but I didn’t give up. Then I started
getting better. During the games I am now able to block the ball. I used effort
motivation and persistence to complete my goal.
CONCLUSION
Sojourner Truth worked hard to reach her goal of ending slavery. I worked hard to
reach my goal of being a better defender at soccer. Are you going to work hard and
accomplish your goal?
