Mentral Training tool (EN)

Introduction
The mental training tool is aimed for the elderly users with cognitive impairments. It encompasses cognitive exercises/games, based on the frequent
ADL functions that the elderly user needs to remember. Memory and attention are the main issues that are trained with this tool.
Starting the program

Start your tablet or computer and
click on one of the following icons
to start the internet:

Click on the search bar (long, white bar at the top of your screen)
and type in: http://sociable.cognitivetraining.eu/inlife/en

Fill in your received username at ‘username’ (patient) and your
received password at ‘password’ (12345678).

Now click on the button:
You are now logged in and ready to get
started.

When you are
logged in, you will
see the following
screen.
Click on Enter. You will now see the following screen:
Choose the “Lost in Translation” Game

When you are logged in, you choose the
“Lost in Translation”.
You can also choose from a list of
available languages.

Push the button ‘PLAY’.
Play the “Lost in Translation” Game

The first page introduces the
game. You have to press the
play orange button in the
middle to continue.
You can select among the following 3 choices (levels): Easy,
Intermediate and Hard.
When you choose one of the 3 levels a menu appears with
the specifications of each level. You continue by push the
orange button in bottom of the picture and starts the game.

After you choose one of the 3 levels the time begin (90sec)
and you must select the button that shows the direction that
the man in the middle points.

In case you don’t give the correct answer a message of
‘Wrong! Try again.’ appears in the top of the picture.
Exit the program
When you push a button which showes the wrong hand direction, then this button is de-activated and you cannot
push it again.

When you are logged in, you choose the
“Synonyms”.
You can also choose from a list of
available languages.

The game starts and you can match
the words that have the same meaning. You have 90 seconds to finish
the game, which finishes when you
pick all the matching words.
You choose one word from one column, and one from the other
you believe that is the synonym of that word.
If you pick correcly the tick appears.
If not, the word turns red, the “wrong, and the
try again” message.
Exit the program
You can return to the homepage

mentioned rules.

drag it into the list.

by pressing the play button.

The game now starts and you can see
the follwoing scenes, from which you
have to choose one.
You choose ther first scene by pressing the play button.
Then, you see the scene in detail, and the 7 objects that you have
to hide.
After you hide the objects you have to wait for a while. During that
time you can also play a game of the ones previously described,
by pressing the play button.
After the time

The game now starts and you can see
the follwoing scenes, from which you
have to choose one.
You choose ther first scene by pressing the play button.
Then, you see the scene in detail, and the 10 objects that you

After you hide the objects you have to wait for a while. During that
time you can also play a game of the ones previously described,
by pressing the play button.

The game starts and you can see the map and the start destination.
By pressing the next button, you can see the next destination.
When you see all the destinations, you will have to remember them
with the correct order and repeat them, by placing the avatar at
the correct country.
