Turning in Box Tops is an easy way for our school to earn money for Spirit Shack
items, special programs and more. Last year we earned $392… This year our goal is
$1000. This month we are kicking off our Box Tops competition. Grade versus grade.
The grade that turns in the most Box Tops by the end of the school year will earn a
pizza party. Turn in your Box Tops at the display in the Commons. Each grade has their
own pizza box. At the end of each month, the Box Tops will be counted and your pizza
will receive pizza toppings. You can see your grade progress by how many toppings are
represented on your pizza. Staff is also encouraged to turn in box tops! There is a
box in the staff room or you can help out in the competition. Let's get clipping!

Bus notes! Please remember to turn your bus notes in at the Athletic Window before
school. Prior to heading to the buses, remember to pick up your green Bus Pass posted
on the wall by the Athletic Window. You need this pass in order to ride the different
bus. The only time the green Bus Pass will be delivered to you is if you are unaware of
riding a different bus. 
Staff Info

Looking for the shredder? It’s now in Ms. Harrold’s classroom. Her students will take
care of your shredding needs! Please email her to let her know and the rest will be
taken care of. 

Staff – just a reminder that $20 is all it takes to help out the Social Committee. As
usual, if you are part-time, then just donate your percentage. If you are short on
cash, we are happy with whatever donation you are able to part with. Thank you! 

Please remember to send sick students to the Health Room to call home. Do not have
them call from the classroom. Thank you!

Please remember to put a note on your door clip indicating where you and your class
are. We spend wwwwwwaaaaayyyyy too much time searching for kiddos.  Thank you
for your help with this!

Certified staff only . . . . .when you need an external sub remember 3.5 hours or less
and they get paid for 3.5 hours. Anything more than 3.5 hours and they get paid for a
full 7 hours. Please keep this in mind when you enter your absences (don’t forget you
can override the ½ day a.m. and ½ day p.m. default times – just make sure you stay
within the 3.5 hour timeframe ). Thank you!

Confiscated Phones/iPods Envelopes – if you take away one of these items from a
student, please place it in an envelope (you can find these next to the mailboxes in the
workroom), complete the form attached to the envelope and deliver to the office.
We’ll keep it safe in a locked drawer until it gets picked up. Please document in their
e-discipline file. Thank you!
Have a terrific Thursday,
Lions!!! 
