GREEN PEAS BIRTHDAY PARTY WORKSHOPS
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Green Peas deliver creative crafts workshops and outdoors art events for children's birthday
parties at a location of your choice. Our workshops are tailored around your child and mess
free for you!
Our crafts workshops include: collage making, puppets making, grains mosaics, messy play
and more! Our art events for children can be run in outdoors space and include; painting
zone, crafts zone and messy play zone. You can choose and mix the activities to suit your
party. We can also provide party bags decorating activity on your request.
We can run workshops for up to 10 children as standard, and we also run parties for up to 35
children. We then provide extra tutors to support and supervise the children's craft activities.
What happens on the day:
An experienced session leader will arrive at the party venue, with all the craft materials for
your chosen craft activities 45 minutes before the party starts to meet and greet the party
person and to prepare all the fun activities.
We run the art session for up to 2 hours. After the first hour the children can move on to
games and party food, whilst Green Peas staff tidy up after the first hour of the session. We
can stay for another 1 hr to ensure that each child had an opportunity to creatively play at
our workshop unless you wish us to stay only for the first hour. After finishing, we clear away
and make sure that each child's artwork is ready to take home at the end of the party. Our
staff is CRB checked, First Aiders and insured.
We aim to deliver a successful and fun experience for children, that's why our offer covers 2
full hours of running the birthday party workshop. From our experience, the first hour of the
party is a very exciting time for children and often they like to come back to craft activities a
bit later on the day.
What is included in our package
We provide all the floor and table covers, overalls for children and craft materials so you can
relax and enjoy the party! The products we use are safe and non toxic. Our paints are
washable and come out of most fabrics. All natural materials are foraged in local green
spaces and craft materials are in majority recycled and sourced from Scrapp Project.
Age groups and typical craft activities
The activities are designed to inspire children's imagination and creativity and of course to
have fun! Green Peas workshop leader will bring along a range of reference materials, and
templates to help the children with their designs.
Whichever activity you choose, we will make sure the children have a great crafts party and
go home with their very own unique piece of creativity.

1. CRAFTS WORKSHOP PACKAGE
Ages 2-4 years old
For children 2 – 4 years old collage based craft activities are always very popular such as
pasta and grains mosaics, nature pictures (collages made out of natural objects).Also
puppets, party hats and crowns, and paper plate creations. Messy play, tactile activities such
as scooping the grains, and modelling with natural play dough prove to be very enjoyable for
children of that age. These activities are packed full of sticking, gluing and glitter. We can
provide a personal messy play session for your child - great fun!
Pasta Mosaics

Ages 5-11 years old
Children of age 5 -7 years old may also like fun with more advanced grains mosaics where
they use various types of pulses and grains to create beautiful mosaics on recycled wood
boards. We offer a variation of this activity with colourful pasta shapes. Creating veggie
creatures out of fruit and veg by using cocktail sticks and googly eyes is one of the favourite
nature craft activities at our workshops for children of that age. Nature collages are also very
popular with that age group, as well as puppets making, hats and crowns making, decorating
fancy party glasses and more!

to help the children with their designs.
Whichever activity you choose, we will make sure the children have a great nature crafts
party and go home with their very own unique piece of creativity. You can choose up to 2
activities per party or more for an additional charge.

CRAFTS WORKSHOP and MESSY PLAY WORKSHOP
PACKAGE
This birthday party package is suitable for parties for children within the age range 2-7 years
old such as; toddlers, pre-schoolers and early years of primary school pupils. It combines the
messy play activities with crafts workshops.
Messy play zone for ages 1-4 years old includes up to 2 activities; grains scooping,
playdough modelling, or tactile activity of your choice such as; spaghetti play, foam play,
popcorn play, flour play and many more! These activities are suitable for ages 1-4 years all
and are very enjoyable for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Overalls for children are provided.

Crafts workshops for ages 4-7 years old
4 -7 years olds like fun with more advanced crafts activities. This package offers up to 2
crafts activities of your choice.

Prices start from £200 per party depending upon numbers attending and the party location.

Up to 30 children: 250 ( 1 helper)
3. 'MINI ART PICNIC' PACKAGE
This birthday party package is suitable for parties for children within the age range 2-8 years
old such as; toddlers, pre-schoolers and early years of primary school pupils. It combines the
messy play activities with crafts workshops and painting/printmaking zone.
It is advised that these birthday event is carried out in outdoors space for the best effect,
however large hall with non carpeted floors can easily accommodate it, if the weather
conditions are adverse. Please ensure that you have booked suitable space if you decide to
choose that option!
The event will include 3 zones; Painting Zone with Printmaking station, Crafts Zone and
Messy Play Zone.
Painting zone is a dedicated area with up to 6 free standing painting boards where children
can paint freely using the variety of tools such as; paint brushes, rollers, scrapers, sponge
stamps, or squirt the paint with syringes. It can accommodate up to 6 children at the time. It
is a favourite zone for most of the children as they can get really messy and creative with
paint, not being limited by an enclosed space. Reclaimed/recycled paper will be used for this
activity.
Printmaking station will be set up next to this zone. Children can play, exploring making
prints using various pre-cut vegetables (veggie prints). It can accommodate up to 6 children at the time.
Crafts zone will include 1 craft station, with crafts activities suitable for children 3+ years
old. Each station will accommodate approx 8 children.
Messy Play zone
This zone will contain up to 3 activities for under 5s, such as; playdough modelling
(handmade, homemade playdough and variety of modelling tools to play with), grains
scooping ( large tins full of grains and pulses such as barley, lentils, rice ect. and a range of
scooping tools and little containers to play with), and tactile play (Popcorn Play, Oats Play)
