Lubbock, Texas – The College Baseball Foundation and Diamond Sports are proud to
announce this week’s National All-Star Lineup. The lineup is dominated by pitching
performances from across the nation, highlighted by two no-hitters thrown by Jason Van
Skike of Indiana State and Kyle Fitzpatrick of Florida International. Trevor Bauer of
UCLA set a career high with 17 strikeouts over the weekend. See the full National AllStar Lineup below.
Trevor Bauer – UCLA, Junior
Set a career high with 17 strikeouts in 10 innings, limiting Nebraska to one
run and four hits as UCLA dropped a 2-1 decision in 12 innings on Saturday.
Bauer’s 17 strikeouts were the most by a UCLA pitcher since March 2000.
Kyle Fitzpatrick – Florida International, Junior
Threw the fifth no-hitter in school history during a 4-0, 9-inning complete
game shutout over Northeastern. Fitzpatrick faced one batter over the
minimum, allowed one walk and struck out five. It was the first no-hitter at
FIU since 1983.
Sean Gilmartin – Florida State, Junior
Struck out a career high 11 against Georgia. Gilmartin faced just two batters
over the minimum and allowed just one hit – an opposite field single in the
fifth – in eight innings of shutout work to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Sonny Gray – Vanderbilt, Junior
Recorded his second career complete game striking out a career best 15 with
no walks. Gray did not allow a hit in his first four or last three innings. He
struck out at least one batter in every inning and fanned 13 swinging. The
junior scored the winning run in 6-5 win over WKU on Tuesday as pinch
runner on wild pitch.
Chris Lamb – Davidson, Junior
Struck out 11 batters and went the distance in a 1-0 three-hit, complete game
shutout of Furman. Lamb made it into the ninth inning for a second straight
outing and finished off the Paladins for his first complete game of the
season.
Seth Maness – East Carolina, Senior
Tossed his first career complete game, a two-hit shutout against Pepperdine,
and tied his career high with 11 strikeouts. Maness faced three over the
minimum and at one point retired 18 hitters in a row from the third to the
ninth inning.
Matt Morgan – Purdue, Senior
Pitched a complete game shutout and tallied 10 strikeouts while allowing
only three hits and two walks. The game was Morgan’s fourth in his career
with 10 or more strikeouts.
Zach Noonan – Murray State, Senior
Hit .563 in four games last week. Noonan had nine hits, scored five runs,
and batted in nine. His nine hits included three doubles, a triple, and a grand
slam.
Mason Radeke – Cal Poly, Junior
Struck out 14 in an 8-2 win over Valparaiso. Radeke tied the Cal Poly D-I
record for strikeouts and gave up just two runs and five hits in 109 pitches.
Kyle Robinson – Arkansas, Junior
Hit .474 (9 for 19) with three home runs, 13 RBI, and nine runs scored.
Robinson hit the game winning home run with two outs in the bottom of the
seventh in series finale with Milwaukee to complete the sweep, was a perfect
3 for 3 in stolen bases, and didn’t commit an error in 13 chances in the field.
Andrew Susac – Oregon State,
Batted .500 (9 for 18) with 10 runs, three doubles, two home runs, and eight
RBI. Susac slugged 1.055 and had an on-base percentage of .608.
Jason Van Skike – Indiana State, Senior

leading the Sycamores to an 8-0 victory over Central Arkansas. The no-no
was the first no-hitter for ISU since the 1988 season and the first nine-inning
individual no-hitter for a Sycamore pitcher since 1949.
