Third Culture Kids
Serving the Lord all over the World
Guten Tag! (“Hello” in German)
Salut (pronounced saw loo) is a way for friends to say “hello” in France.
Hola! Como Estas? (“Hello, how are you?” in Spanish)
Sa-wat-dee kraup is when a boy says “hello” in Thai.
Sa-wat-dee kah is when a girl says “hello” in Thai.
We are the Third Culture Kids (TCK). We are the children of missionaries
sent out by the Christian & Missionary Alliance to tell people in other countries about Christ. We live all over the world: Germany, France, Asia, Africa,
Thailand and South America to name a few.
Christmas is an exciting time! We have an opportunity to share the story of
the birth of Jesus Christ to the people we meet in our countries. Each country has different traditions for Christmas. Did you know the Christmas tree
started in Germany? Another celebration in some parts of France is that 13
different desserts are eaten! All the desserts are made from different types of
fruit, nuts and pastries.

In the United States, you celebrate Christmas on December 25th. There are
some countries like Thailand and Mongolia that
consider December 25th as regular working day.
They don’t know about Jesus’ birthday and why he
is important. Like you, we are here to spread the
good news about our Savior.
Thank you for praying for us!
