2017 PARTNER OPPORTUNITIES OCTAVIUS by Peter Hazel Photo by: Redrum In 2017, we will once again transform 12 city blocks of downtown Reno into a, free open air gallery of oversized art works including more than 35 institutional-scale sculptures, paintings, murals and digital productions supported by three stages of music, resort entertainment, and late-night parties. More than 30,000 attendees will celebrate art for three days and continue to awaken a new renaissance for an entire city. ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS Reno Sculpture Fest is non-profit 501(c)3 organization supported by the City of Reno and produced in collaboration between some of the region’s premiere art, music, production, and marketing teams. Together they act as liaisons between hundreds of artists, musicians, crew, and partners to produce a one-of-a-kind experience for locals and tourists in Reno each year. Through Reno Art Works, executive director Aric Shapiro coordinates with city officials, municipal offices, local business, and international artists to curate the monumental open-air, oversized art event. RenoArtworks.com Through experience design firm I Dreamt Last Night, Daysha Taylor curates the marketing, content, and online experience for both fans and brand. Previous works includes U.R. Art Festival, Electric Forest, and more. iDreamtLastNight.com As CEO and owner of Fresh Bakin’, Northern Nevada’s leading talent buyer and promoter, Steve Emmerich curates the music programming across three stages and multiple late-night venues during Reno Sculpture Fest 2017. Freshbakin.com Through The Generator, a main production facitlity for many large-scale pieces seen at Burning Man and abroad, Lindsay Schaefer organizes crew, volunteers, and production support during Reno Sculpture Fest. TheRenoGenerator.com REIMAGINING THE FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE With Fortune 500 companies like TESLA, Google, Switch, and others attracting new talent to Reno, a vibrant and growing mid-town district, and the city’s reputation as the “Gateway to Burning Man,” our city is becoming a new beacon for art, culture, innovation, and technology. As we welcome the migration of forward-thinking, cultural movers-and-shakers to the area, we invite you to participate in empowering a renaissance through opportunities at the 2017 Reno Sculpture . For the past decade, this country has experienced a demand for boutique art and music festivals, so much that the space is now oversaturated with paywalled festival gardens that struggle to deliver a unique offering year-after-year. The experience is homogenized and brand impact is diminished.
