2006 List Releases for Best Workplaces for
SM
Commuters from the FORTUNE 500 companies
and Nine Communities
On October 18, 2006, EPA announced its 3rd annual list of Best Workplaces for Commuters from the FORTUNE 500
Companies. This year’s list has grown to over 130 of the FORTUNE 500 companies (only 370 to go…). The Top 20
companies were ranked by percent of employees who are offered commuter benefits. To see the full list of Best

On the same date, nine communities from across the country released their local lists of Best Workplaces for Commuters.
The communities are Houston, TX; North Texas (Dallas/Fort Worth); Phoenix, AZ; Puget Sound, WA; Sacramento, CA;
San Diego, CA; San Francisco Bay Area, CA; Triangle Region, NC; and Tucson, AZ. To see these lists, visit:
