On Thursday 28th January everyone in the school will become scientists for the day when we hold our annual Science Day. This year the day is called ‘Just a Minute’ and teachers are busy planning investigations which take just 60 seconds! The aim of the day is to give children as many opportunities as possible during the day to go through the scientific process (ask questions, generate hypotheses, perform tests, analyse results and draw conclusions). To help us with the measuring of time and to help emphasise the theme we would like you to try and make sure your child brings a watch or stopwatch to school that day. It will be a ‘wear a watch to school’ day.
