Monthly News Letter – RID Dr. Manoj Desai – Issue July 2016
THE QUEST
Synonyms for “The Quest” are “In Search of”, “Mission” or “Goal”.
Friends, we are on a Never Ending Journey For A Better Tomorrow. Last
year we tried to be A Gift to the World and this year we will prove that
Rotary is Serving Humanity.
Each leader (from Club, District, Zone & Rotary International) is in
search of newer ways to achieve self decided Goals. Goals could be
SMART / can be CHALLENGING & can be exhaustive. This is a
special year - Centennial year of TRF. Chairman of Trustees of TRF is
our own PRIP Kalyan'Da.
RI President John Germ
Mrs. Judy Germ
Smiling Sheriffs have pledged to create a new mile stone for India by
raising 26 million dollars. Believe you my friends, NOTHING IS
IMPOSSIBLE!
I am happy that all DGEs have analyzed the results & decided their
Goals (see page 2). They will be helped by FRIENDS IN THE FIELD
(Assistant Coordinators of their RCs, RRFCs, RPICs, EMGAs) during
the year to realize their dream. It is vital for all DGs to stay away from
politics & invest time in achieving goals. Last year we saw some who
could not achieve goals mainly due their indulgence in politics.
Friends, at Jaipur you voted for Rotary's DNA - SERVICE &
INTEGRITY. I wish you all the best for enjoying journey of Rotary
Serving Humanity.
RI Director
Drs. Manoj &
Sharmishtha Desai

This being my 2nd year on Committee, it is quite an eye opener on the need of the hour. Hope gist is
good for you to know that efforts of all Indian Districts are appreciated including My Voice-My Vote.
