Declarative Sentence Formula: Present Progressive Tense
Singular subject + am/is/are + present participle (verb ending with ing) + time phrase +
finisher.
Plural subject + are + present participle (verb ending with ing) + time phrase + finisher.
Example: (singular subject) The teacher is standing in the front of the classroom at the
beginning of the day.
Example: (plural subject) Two students are simultaneously raising their hands because
each knows the answer to the teacher's question.
