CONDUCT
The Shops at Highland Village is committed to providing an enjoyable and safe
shopping and dining experience for all guests, employees and merchants. While visiting
The Shops at Highland Village, the following general activities are NOT permitted:
1.
Any activity that threatens the safety of our guests, merchants or employees.
2.
Any activity that disrupts our pleasant, family-oriented shopping environment including but not
limited to yelling, screaming, or creating a disturbance of any kind.
3.
Prolonged loitering, or otherwise assembling for the purpose of disturbing the public peace,
gambling, or committing a crime.
4.
Operating unauthorized motorized or non-motorized scooters, as well as skateboards, hover
boards, rollerblades and other similar items.
5.
Riding bicycles on the sidewalks or other areas designated for pedestrians.
6.
Disruptive language, gestures or profanity.
7.
Running, horseplay or disorderly conduct of any nature.
8.
Defacing, damaging or destroying any real or personal property, structural or otherwise, located on
the premises.
9.
Sitting anywhere, or on anything, other than chairs, benches or lawn areas commonly used as seating.
10.
Soliciting donations, including cash or other contributions; distributing commercial advertising or
promotional material of any kind; or offering samples of items which are sold, available for sale, or
provided for a donation or contribution, without the prior written approval of center management.
11.
Using the premises as a location for commercial and non-commercial third-party activities
including, but not limited to, photo sessions, video recording, flash mobs, and scavenger hunts,
without the prior written approval of center management.
12.
Parking anywhere other than designated area, or parking overnight.
After 7 PM, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
while in The Shops at Highland Village’s public areas. This policy does not apply to
those who may be working, dining or shopping at The Shops at Highland Village.
Any person who fails to comply with the request of SHV management or security
may be asked to leave the property and/or criminally trespassed.
