Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 80% of its assets, exclusive of collateral held from securities lending, in component securities of the Index. 3 month 3.77 3.37 3.87 NUSC at Net Asset Value (NAV) NUSC at Market Price TIAA ESG USA Small-Cap Index3 Since Fund Inception (12/14/16) 2.11 1.88 2.23 TOP HOLDINGS (%) 4 16.8 16.1 15.4 11.8 11.6 10.7 5.9 3.9 3.5 3.5 1.0 Aqua America Inc Reliance Steel & Aluminum Logmein Inc Oshkosh Corp Starwood Property Trust Inc First American Financial WGL Holdings Inc Zions Bancorporation Treehouse Foods Inc One Gas Inc 0.9 0.9 0.8 0.8 0.8 0.7 0.7 0.6 0.6 0.6 FUND DATA P/E Ratio P/B Ratio Number of holdings Total Net Assets 37.10 2.53 744 $11.5 million INDEX DESCRIPTION The Index is composed of equity securities issued by small-capitalization companies listed on U.S. exchanges that meet certain environment, social and governance (“ESG”) criteria. There is no guarantee the Fund’s investment objectives will be achieved. This ETF seeks to generally track the investment results of an index; however the Fund may underperform, outperform or be more volatile than the referenced index. In addition, because the Index selects securities for inclusion based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, the Fund may forgo some market opportunities available to funds that don’t use these criteria. The value of equity securities may decline significantly over short or extended periods of time. Investments in smaller companies are subject to greater volatility than those of larger companies. These and other risk considerations are described in detail in the Fund’s prospectus. Shares of ETFs are bought and sold at market price as opposed to net asset value. As a result, an investor may pay more than net asset value when buying and receive less than net asset value when selling. In addition, brokerage commissions will reduce returns. Fund shares are not individually redeemable directly with the Fund, but blocks of shares may be acquired from the Fund and tendered for redemption to the Fund by certain institutional investors in Creation Units. GLOSSARY Price/earnings ratio (P/E Ratio): The weighted average P/E of the stocks in the Index. P/E ratio is the ratio of a stock’s current price to its per-share earnings over the past year and is often an indicator of market expectation about corporate prospects; usually the higher the P/E, the greater the expectations for a company’s future growth in earnings. Price/book ratio (P/B ratio): The weighted average P/B ratio of the stocks in the Index. P/B ratio is the price per share of a stock divided by its book value (i.e., net worth) per share.
