We will do everything we can to accommodate your scheduling preferences but there are no guarantees.

Balloon Crew – Here’s your chance to work with a pilot and learn the “ropes” of ballooning! It takes a large number of volunteers to crew
30 balloons – and crew members might get the chance to fly! There are 6 flights and 2 balloon glows scheduled – the Media Flight on Thursday evening (or Friday morning, depending on weather conditions), then 15 balloons will fly and 15 balloons will glow on Friday and Saturday
nights, and all balloons will fly in a competition flight on Saturday and Sunday morning. As a crewmember, you will be trained by your designated pilot prior to assisting the pilot. You will be joined with your pilot for briefings. Whether you sign up alone or with a group, volunteer balloon crew members are sure to have fun experiencing the art of hot air ballooning!
Gatesway Booths – Offer information about Gatesway programs and services; sell Gatesway memorabilia, help set-up and breakdown
area during and after the event.
Volunteer Check-In – Volunteers are essential to the success of this event and Check-In Volunteers will need big smiles and outstanding organizational skills.
Hospitality Food Service Staff – Volunteers help serve food and beverages, and assist guests of the Hospitality Room.
