Prophecy is God’s eternal drama. It is the unrolling of God’s plan for the ages. When God gives His names, He
defines Himself as “I am.” He is always forever eternally in the present tense.
When you have a puzzle, one of the best ways to see how it fits together is by examining the picture on the box.
If you simply look at the pieces, they don’t relate as you stare at them. If you get the big view of the box you can
put it in order. Prophecy is the Bible’s way of giving us a big picture of the future.
But at the heart of prophecy actually will be changing our hearts. Not merely informing our heads.
