30 Prayer Requests for 30 minutes

30 Prayer Requests for 30 minutes
1. Young Life leaders to find opportunities and desire
to be on campus with students and as a result, build
strong relationships with students where both
leaders and students pursue to know each other.
2. Young Life leaders represent the diversity of
students that attend school, not only ethnically, but
social groups.
3. Seeds would be planted for Christ so that even the
ones that don’t meet Jesus either in their middle
school or high school years are still positively
influenced by the ministry of Young Life.
4. Students would have a desire to go to Young Life
and church, and would remain faithful in attendance
throughout the school year.
5. Removal of all road blocks preventing students from
going to Young Life and church such as too much
homework, no ride, sports and other conflicts.
6. Satan wouldn’t deceive them any longer that:
popularity, sports, material things, relationships,
drugs, alcohol, and sex will bring them happiness.
7. Christian leaders to rise amongst their peers and that
their godly character finds favor at the school.
8. Christian students to have boldness in sharing their
faith, a heart for their friends and a desire to invite
them to Young Life and church, but more
importantly invite them to meet Jesus.
9. Christian students to know God and experience Him
moving in their lives.
10. Students to desire and remain pure in their
relationships and stay away from drugs and alcohol
or at least find it hard to have access to them.
11. Young Life is not associated only to a particular type
of crowd, but it truly does reach the diversity of the
school body.
12. Students who have problems at home find freedom in
Christ and make different choices that help stop the
dysfunctional pattern.
13. Students will express kindness, mercy and love at the
school and that Christian students take a lead on
standing up against bullying.
14. Students who are on the verge of pregnancy,
dropping out, suicide will have someone come in,
intervene in their lives and introduce them to
change.
15. Christian teachers will be bold with sharing Christ’s
love and setting a godly example.
16. Every week that there is club, there will be NEW
students that will come and attend and be exposed to
Young Life for the very first time and continue to
come throughout the rest of this school year.
17. If you know any specific student, parent,
administration, staff or leader at any of the schools,
take time to pray for them.
18. Capernaum (ministry to students with disabilities)
will exist and thrive in Snohomish County
19. YoungLives (ministry to teen moms) will find enough
childcare workers so that teen moms can attend
camp this summer.
20. We will find an individual or individuals who would
be willing to be pioneers in actively reaching out to
foster kids, those living in group homes or kids who
have dropped out of school. We really desire to
reach every kid.
21. Lynnwood High School and Alderwood Middle
School will have Team Coordinators and a solid
group of adult leaders.
22. More adult leaders and adult support at Scriber
Lake YL.
23. More male leaders for at Mountlake Terrace YL.
24. God would provide more Committee members.
25. Lynnwood-Terrace Young Life will have more of a
community presence.
26. All camp spots will be filled for the summer, and
perhaps even request more spots.
27. God will bless ALL aspects of camp: Transportation,
club talks, cabin time, activities, relationships, safety
and that many students would find Jesus as their
Savior and get plugged into church and
Campaigners after camp and grow in their faith.
28. God would bless upcoming fundraisers: Tuesday,
May 3 Bowl-a-thon; Friday, May 6 Middle School
Laser Tag Fundraiser; Saturday, May 14 High School
Car Wash; Saturday, June 11 Middle School Car
Wash - as well as other fundraisers that leaders will
be setting up personally.
29. Young Life leaders will be refreshed, encouraged
and protected from the attacks of Satan (as this is the
time that most leaders feel burnt out).
30. God would provide the area’s financial needs.
