fields and tennis courts for teams.

The Twentieth Century Club

The Twentieth Century Club, located at
84 South Lansdowne Avenue, is home to
the Recreation Director as well as hosts
many of the recreation programs offered
in Lansdowne including marbles, piano,
art, tot-lot, tai chi and yoga. The Twentieth Century Club is also available for
community rental and offers a beautiful
location for a wedding or party.

Belmont Park -Belmont & Plumstead Aves.
- 3.9 acres. Acquisition of lots began in 1951
and was completed by 1980. This park features
a junior size basketball court, playground
equipment, swings, picnic area, and an open
area suitable for play surrounded by many large
shaded trees.
Pennock Woods
-Pennock Terrace - 6.5
acres. Delaware county open space complemented by the Lansdowne Bird Sanctuary. This
area is especially beautiful in the fall when the
maple trees turn a brilliant shade of red.
Shrigley Woods - Scottdale & Hilldale Rds. -
6.5 acres. This undeveloped county open space
features steep wooded slopes divided by a small
stream that supports a significant wetland and is
home to wild flowers.
Sycamore Park
Reservoir Park Hays Park -Nyack & Sayers Aves. -1.2 acres.
This land was donated by the Hayes family in
the late 1940s. This park features a full size
basketball court, swings, play apparatus, picnic
area and large shade trees.
Hoffman Park
-Scottdale Rd. -8 acres.
Dedicated in July 1971. The land was donated
by Jacob Hoffman. Facilities were completed by
the citizens of Lansdowne and the Department
of Community Affairs Commonwealth of PA.
Hoffman park is the main athletic facility for
local sporting events such as soccer, softball,
baseball, basketball and tennis. Location of our
annual autumn town event, Park Day.
Interboro Park -
Btw. Bartram & Fairview
Aves. -3 acres. The land was transferred to the
borough on July 13, 1980. The park features a
full size basketball court, open space suitable for
soccer and touch football, a grass volleyball
court, and a nature trail through the wooded
section of the park.
Marlyn Park -Willowbrook & Marlyn Aves.
- 3 acres. A perfect park to enjoy nature through
the rushing waters of Falls Run. This scenic
park is completely surrounded and includes a
natural spring and meadow flowers.
Greenwood & Ardmore
Aves. - 1.4 acres. For years the site remained as
a drained reservoir until the park was opened to
the public in 2004. This park is completely
fenced and features a bubbling stream running
through it diagonally, a small wetland area and
natural vegetation.
- LaCrosse & Wycombe
Aves. - 1 acre. Named for the historic sycamore tree located in the center of the park.
The tree is estimated to be over 300 years old
and is the symbol of the town. The land for
the park was acquired through the hard work
and dedication of the residents and civic
groups in Lansdowne. The meditative setting
provided by the historic tree is complemented
by a rose garden, and shrubbery.
