Blood Drive Gives Back to Community
July
2014
Henry Poor Lumber and Flooring
Express held its annual “Roll Up
Your Sleeve” Blood Drive in conjunction with their July cookout on
July 25th. The Indiana Blood Center’s Bloodmobile was on site starting at 10 am and stayed until 2:30.
Breyanna Turner organized the
blood drive on the Henry Poor side
by making all the arrangements and
coordinating the
schedules. In addition,
Bre ya nna
worked the phones
and contacted a number of previous donors and encouraged
them to attend. As a

drive. This was our 4th year in a row
hosting. This is such a great way to
give back to others without spending any money. We’d like to thank
all those who took part with a special thanks to our super recruiter
Scott Lahrman of Crownline Homes
who brought in three donors.”
Each donation makes a big difference to those who need blood transfusions following surgery, cancer
treatments and other medical conditions. The Indiana Blood Center
supports over 60 hospitals in Indiana. Each donation can save up to
three Hoosiers lives.
Thanks again to all those who were
able to contribute to this community
endeavor.
