Elementary Update December 5, 2014

Elementary Update December 5, 2014 Elementary Giving Tree During the weeks of Tuesday, November 25th through Friday, December 12th, the elementary classes will be decorating a Christmas tree in our library with contributions for the community sponsored Love Baskets. If your child and family would like to donate, we would recommend the following. The PreK, Kindergarten, and First Grade students may donate various toiletries, such as combs, brushes, hair ties, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and soap. The second and third graders are asked to bring mittens, gloves, and winter caps. The Fourth and Fifth Graders may bring socks for school age children and adults. The tree will be up from Tuesday, November 25th through Friday, December 12th. Your child may bring their donation to the Elementary Library in the morning upon arrival and clip it on the tree or place it in a special box that will be under the tree. Cold Weather Is Upon Us!! Students should wear appropriate clothing for the change in weather conditions. Please send your child to school with a heavy coat, hat, and gloves. If your student is in need of warm winter clothing please contact Mrs. Cary RN at 3193943101 X1413 or [email protected] with your child’s need and sizes. Head Lice Parents are the key to looking for and treating head lice! Spending 15 minutes each week per child carefully looking for head lice or nits is recommended for early detection and treatment.
